SEAtS Software goes live on UK Government CloudStore

SEAtS Software who provide software to manage student engagement, retention, attendance and regulatory compliance to universities, colleges and other higher education institutions, has been accepted onto the UK Government’s G-Cloud V Services Framework to provide cloud services.

SEAtS Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions are now listed live on the Government CloudStore. All government departments, devolved administrations, local authorities, wider public sector bodies and arm’s length bodies are eligible to buy services on CloudStore.

The CloudStore is an easy way for the UK public sector to buy cloud computing commodity and support services. The online catalogue contains details of each of the G-Cloud suppliers and their services. All types of cloud services are available in the CloudStore, including Public, Private and Hybrid, with offerings under four Lots: Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS), and Specialist Cloud Services (SCS). All the services listed on the store are part of the G-Cloud frameworks so are immediately available for the public sector to procure and use.
According to SEAtS CEO, Noel Dooley, “We are delighted to be accepted onto this framework of cloud servicess approved by HM Government. Cloud computing has matured significantly over the last number of years and has been proven to offer a number of advantages including significant cost savings, ease of use and always having access to the latest software.
Most importantly, we can ensure it is operational in time for the start of the academic year. Furthermore, due to the scalability of cloud computing, it’s easy for higher level institutions to start small and gradually expand their use.”
