Business Development Manager

SEAtS Software, the global student success software company,  is seeking Business Development Managers who will be responsible for identifying developing and closing sales opportunities in the United Kingdom. The successful candidates will initiate, develop and sustain long-term relationships with UK universities and colleges. Our ideal applicant will have sales or direct experience in the higher and further education sectors, and in particular, enterprise or educational software sales experience.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Continually develop pipeline by creating new opportunities with universities and colleges and nurture existing relationships;
  • Design approach strategies in consultation with SEAtS Senior Management based on the strategic business plan;
  • Drive direction of client deliverables and direction of projects as required;
  • Act a liaison point to  manage RFP responses with colleagues;
  • Effectively target, propose, negotiate and contract with new institutions;

Indicators of Success

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, or ICT related field;
  • At least five (3+) years experience in education field;
  • At least three (3+) years of sales experience in the education field;
  • Proven record of sales success, exceeding sales targets;
  • Very strong presentation skills, with strong written and verbal capabilities;
  • Ability to create/communicate unique solutions;
  • Strong sense of teamwork and collaboration;
